Bangkok
Bangkok International Airport (BKK) is located 25 kilometres north of the city of Bangkok. It serves the city and the areas around it and acts as a hub for Thailand and other parts of South East Asia. The airport is busy, due to its constant flow of business travellers, vacationers and backpackers. In 1998, the number of passengers at Bangkok International Airport was up to 25.62 mil. which resulted BKK's quantitative rank of passenger to become the 28th of the world. It is among the world's 50 largest airports. For aircraft movements, BKK is ranked 91.
